Salt & Pine Cottage is a bright, thoughtfully designed two-bedroom cottage with an additional upstairs loft, blending warm natural woods, soft neutrals and deep pine accents for a relaxed New England feel. The open living area features comfortable seating around the fireplace and Smart TV, while the fully equipped kitchen offers stainless-steel appliances, generous counter space, bar seating and a dedicated coffee and tea setup. A round dining table seats six for meals and game nights. Upstairs, the loft offers flexible bonus space with a daybed and trundle, dedicated workspace and additional seating—perfect for kids, reading or catching up on work. Step outside to enjoy the private patio with outdoor dining and lounge seating, a grill and fire pit—an inviting spot for morning coffee, dinner outdoors or relaxing around the fire after a day exploring Maine. Salt & Pine Cottage is located within the gated Cape Arundel Cottage Preserve, a 300-acre community surrounded by Maine woods and nature. Guests can enjoy two in-ground pools, the community Fire Bar and fire pits, a 6,000-square-foot clubhouse and fitness center, and a 68-acre nature preserve with its own network of walking trails. The community also provides convenient access to the Eastern Trail, part of the East Coast Greenway—perfect for walking, running and biking. Beyond the Preserve, you’re approximately 10 minutes from Kennebunkport, with easy access to beaches, Dock Square, restaurants and shopping. The cottage also makes a great home base for exploring southern Maine and the Seacoast. Salt & Pine Cottage isn't just a summer escape. Come fall, the surrounding woods put on a spectacular show of color, while cooler evenings are made for fireside relaxing. Later in the season, Kennebunkport and the surrounding coastal towns take on a festive New England charm, making the cottage an inviting home base for holiday events, shopping and dining.
Guest Access
Guests will have full access to the property, with the exception of a small closet under the stairs reserved for owner use and a locked outdoor shed.

There are 2 dedicated parking spots for this home. This is a gated community so there is not a lot of traffic and it's a safe place for families. There are nearby biking and walking trails such as the Eastern Trail, as well as a 6,000 square foot clubhouse with pools, fitness center and game room. Popular Things to do and places to visit during your Stay: BEACHES: (5–10 minute drive from Arundel) • Gooch’s Beach • Parson’s Beach • Mother’s Beach • Goose Rock’s Beach (15 minutes) TOWNS TO VISIT: KENNEBUNKPORT: (10 minutes from Arundel) • Cute Seacoast town with many Shops and Restaurants • The Seashore Trolley Museum displays a huge collection of streetcars • The 1833 Goat Island Lighthouse • Walkers Point (The George Bush compound) CAPE PORPOISE: (15 minutes from Arundel) • Shops and Restaurants OLD ORCHARD BEACH: (20 minutes north of Arundel) • A beach community with amusement park, boardwalk and iconic 500-foot-long pier. The area surrounding the summit is a park reservation which provides habitat for wildlife and a venue for recreation. (You can drive to the top for great views of Mt.
